An Addition to the Family
Meet Chrissy. Noey and I adopted her today!
She's about 2 years old and we think she is a daschund/chihuahua mix. She was rescued from a County Animal Shelter, where she was going to be put to death!!
Noey has been wanting a dog, so we've been looking into "rescue" or "shelter" dogs. This morning we drove to Long Beach to meet Chrissy and a couple of other dogs. Noey fell in love with her the moment she saw her, and I think Chrissy felt the same way!
Now we just have to get used to having a dog in the house. The rescue lady told me it's just like having a 2 year old.....

How exciting!!!! Chrissy is so cute, and Noey looks thrilled. Good for you all. :) Your card came yesterday - thank you, we loved the picture.
Oh isnt she a sweetheart, and Noey looks so happy with her. Great Christmas present too for Noey. I am sure it will be just like having another child in the house. I hope she is easy to train for you too. By the way she does look as though she has Jack Russell in her, obviously a short haired one.
Yippeee!!! I doggy, and even better, a saved doggy! Enjoy your new family member. What a cutie! both of them!!
