We cruised the harbor, right past the Opera House.
Later we actually went to the Opera House to see it up close and personal. We didn't climb the Harbour Bridge. Joe now claims that he wanted to, but I didn't. That's not how I remember it!
It was a fabulous, once in a lifetime, trip. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
But the best part of the whole trip was exactly 9 months later Noelle was born!! (she was actually due on March 24, 2000.....but she came early..... that's a story for another day!)

You will be glad to know that Aust hasnt changed much since you were here last. I use to live about 15min walk from the Opera House and about a 5 min walk from the Harbour Bridge. The the council has tidied things up and made some things new again; things are pretty still the same. They are actually trying to me the Opera House a "world wonder".
Thank you so much for sharing the memories and pictures from your wonderful trip. I loved seeing them all - and you certainly don't look to scared of the kangaroo in the picture. You certainly came back with the best souvenir of all, even if it did take 9 months to be delivered. :)
